Met up with a childhood friend for lunch. Show to a table for two. Very nicely appointed. Had a glass of House Red each as an apertif which was a very nice wine. Both had a starter - trio of mozarella, onion ring and mushroom for me and minestrone soup for my friend. Main courses were ougons of two fish in a beautifully light batter with chips and the special beef served on a bed of mash with roast potatoes, cabbage and carrots. Portion sizes are large. We rounded off our meal with coffee and mints. Magnificent value for £26 in total.
