About Indian Scene Restaurant
Authentic Indian restaurant in Paisley
A family-run restaurant on Glasgow Road, Indian Scene has been delighting Paisley’s Indian food fans since 1995. With a good balance of booth and banquette seating, it is a cosy spot for a romantic dinner for two; a family meal or a night out with a group of friends.
Authentic Indian cuisine
Indian Scene offers an extensive menu of authentic Indian dishes alongside a wide selection of tapas options. All the classic curries are there from dopiazas to dansak. The tandoor section also has all the old favourites from king prawns to the tandoori mixed grill.
Indian Scene also offers lots of interesting, less well known choices. The desi section has a range of home cooking-style options. These include chicken Bilga masalam, a hot dish from the owners’ village of Bilga, made with chicken tikka in a thick chilli sauce, topped with black cumin seeds and garam masala. Alternatively, explore the house specialities such as the lamb passanda cooked in coconut milk or the chicken tikka nashedar – chicken cooked tikka-style in a bhuna-style sauce plus a good measure of brandy to give it a special aromatic flavour.
There is also a section of European dishes for diners who remain immune to Indian food’s many attractions.
Paisley transport and attractions
