About Mercure Brasserie - Perth
Good value meal with friendly service
We were a party of five and had the pre theatre two course offer menu on a Sunday mid afternoon.Probably due to time of day we were served in lounge bar which was comfortable. Starter and main choices were limited but food served was good quality and freshly cooked.
Global menu in atmospheric Perth brasserie
The Brasserie and Lounge in Mercure Perth Hotel are on West Mill Street in the centre of Perth. The hotel is a converted, 15th century watermill and the building’s heritage is deftly underlined by The Brasserie’s decor. Stone walls, oak beams and, through the floor, views of the stream that once powered the mill all tell of the building’s history. Open from breakfast through lunch to dinner and night cap drinks, the Brasserie and Lounge at Mercure Perth Hotel are perfect for working breakfasts; shopping trip lunch breaks; romantic dinners and, of course, family celebrations.
Carefully presented brasserie dishes
With a Chef’s Selection market menu, Lounge menu and an a la carte offering, The Brasserie offers plenty of choice. From chicken tikka masala to the prawn Thai red curry via the range of stone-baked pizza, the dishes show influences from around the globe. Classic European options include braised chicken leg with a white bean and smoked ham hock cassoulet or the wild mushroom in garlic and white wine cream sauce. A grill section offers burgers, the fish of the day and, of course, the ever popular rib-eye steak which is dry-aged for 28 days. Healthy options include a red lentil and chickpea dahl plus a classic Caesar salad.
