About Dog Bowl

Tex-Mex diner and bowling in Manchester city centre

Housed in an arch on Whitworth Street West, Dog Bowl is an American style diner, bar and ten pin bowling centre. The five, full length, ten pin bowling lanes are the main attraction but there are plenty of visitors who come solely for the Tex-Mex menus. With its red booth seating and exposed piping, the decor is a mix of classic American diner and post industrial chic. As well as bowling, Dog Bowl offers screenings of all the big sporting events.

Breakfast, burgers and brisket

Dog Bowl’s menu is based around traditional American diner dishes and Tex-Mex staples. You can start your day with chicken and bacon waffles or the full American breakfast. As the day progresses, visitors can tuck into burgers, sandwiches and salads, wings and slow-cooked baby back ribs. From the Tex-Mex canon, there are quesadillas, fajitas and giant tacos filled with everything from shrimps cooked in chilli butter to rump steak with a blue cheese sauce. Desserts range from a vanilla fudge cheesecake to dunking doughnuts.
