British ingredients, European style
At Store Street Exchange, hearty British dishes and ingredients meet with a distinctly European flourish. Menus can vary but expect to find starters like mussels cooked in cider with flame-grilled bread, Bury black pudding fritters with Stokes brown sauce and blistered Padrón peppers with Anglesey sea salt. The signature dish is hot chicken straight from the rotisserie served whole or half. All rotisserie meats, including the 8oz rump steaks, are 21-day dry aged and supplied by award-winning butcher, Aubrey Allen.
Other mains could include sea bream fillet with Ramsay Ayrshire bacon, potato gnocchi with wild mushrooms, and roast cauliflower with Moroccan spiced sweet potato. If you’ve got room at the end, expect tempting desserts like melt in the middle chocolate pudding with salted caramel ice cream, lemon & mascarpone cheesecake and Eton mess.
