About AC Lounge (Marriott)
Relaxed dining in Salford Quays
AC Lounge + Kitchen is a casual dining space in the chic Marriott AC Hotel. Inside, the brown, blonde and cream decor creates a soothing setting to unwind over a meal. The menu is Mediterranean-influenced and there is a varied tapas selection for you to sample. After dining you can enjoy a craft cocktail in the lounge bar area.
British produce meet Mediterranean flavours
As mentioned, the AC Lounge + Kitchen menu has a strong Mediterranean feel, but British ingredients play a starring role too. Tapas is a highlight, and small plates might include harissa marinated chicken skewers; asparagus spears with parmesan and truffle dipping sauce, and sautéed wild mushrooms with manchego cheese and a splash of sherry.
For mains, there are a range of burgers, pastas, pizzas and sandwiches to choose from, plus paella dishes such as saffron seafood with mussels, calamari and gambas. Other speciality entrees might include salmon fillet with marinara sauce and herb buttered potatoes; slow-cooked duck leg with lentils, shallots and fennel, and pork belly with apple purée, baby beetroot and potato gratin. If you are vegetarian you won’t go hungry either, as you will have options such as Spanish omelette with Mediterranean vegetables and fries, and pappardelle pasta with wild mushrooms.
Tempting desserts might include salted chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream; forest berry cake with dark chocolate ice cream, and a cheese platter with stilton, manchego and cheddar.
