About Afternoon tea at Radisson Blu Edwardian, Manchester
Stylish afternoon tea in the city centre
Situated in the landmark Free Trade Hall in the heart of Manchester, the high ceilings and bespoke furniture of the Radisson Blu Edwardian is a suitably elegant spot to enjoy afternoon tea. Crisp white tablecloths, plush red seats and polished wooden floors all create the perfect setting for clinking teacups and sharing secrets with your favourite friends.
Luxurious teatime treats
Afternoon tea at the Radisson Blu Edwardian includes a selection of homemade finger sandwiches on artisan bread plus pastries, scones, cream and fruity preserves. This is accompanied by a choice of loose leaf tea, aromatic Colombia Andino coffee or award-winning Rococo hot chocolate. Plus, if you fancy a fizzier experience, you can add a glass of champagne.
Menus can change, but expect bready delights such as the honey-roast ham with wholegrain mustard mayonnaise on brioche, the Scottish smoked salmon with lemon butter on dill bread, and the cheese & red onion on caraway seed bread. Scones are served warm from the hotel’s own bakery, while pastries are a delight for the eye. Loose leaf tea choices will most likely include English breakfast, Earl Grey, jasmine; fresh mint and lemon; green sencha, and rosehip & hibiscus.
Notably, a Gentleman’s Afternoon Tea is served too, featuring a steak & ale pie, mini fish & chips and the option of a pint of beer.
A gluten-free option is also available, please request this directly with the hotel.
