About Sam’s Chop House

British food in Manchester city centre

Sam’s Chop House in Manchester City Centre dates back to 1872. Current owners local group The Victorian Chop House Company aim to continue the tradition of a chop house as a British institution where traders dined and conducted their affairs over heart plates of traditionally cooked meats and fine wines or well kept local beers. The menu features classic British dishes with modern twist. A previous guest of Sam’s Chop House was artist L.S. Lowry and his statue now sits at the end of the bar.
