About Cast Iron Bar and Grill

Casual fine dining in the city centre

Overlooking the Irwell, the Cast Iron Bar & Grill is the signature restaurant of the Renaissance Marriott hotel. Inside you can enjoy a range of hearty dishes and light bites in a casual fine dining setting of chic decor, comfy chairs and intimate lighting. This would be great spot for dinner before heading to a show in the city centre.

British and international cuisine

You can dine on a range of British and global flavours at Cast Iron Bar & Grill. All dishes are made from locally sourced ingredients where possible. Menus can change seasonally, but expect starters such as the Severn & Wye smoked salmon, the pan cooked halloumi and the beef brisket with skillet Yorkshire pudding.

Mains might include the award-winning Tom’s Pies with chicken & leek mash, the Devon white crab linguine chilli, and the pappardelle pasta with mushrooms, spinach and poached egg. You can also choose from a range of steaks, burgers and grill items.

The playful dessert section might feature the decadent Cast Iron double chocolate brownie with honeycomb, hot chocolate sauce and Jude’s & Rubies banana ice cream or the vanilla jelly with marshmallows.
