Di Maggio's (Hamilton) Review

  • Rating Delicious (Rating 4.8/5)
Once again we enjoyed our visit to DiMaggios in Hamilton. We first ate in this restaurant almost 30 years ago and it's always a place where my children (now very much grown-up) choose for family dinners. We were not disappointed. The staff over the years have been very friendly and cannot do enough for you. Always attentive, even when on the rare occasion there is a problem it's dealt with without any awkwardness. We had focaccia bread with a very tasty picante dipping sauce while waiting for our starters. TheDi Maggio's Bad Ass wings for a starter is a first choice for my youngest and she always chooses fettuccine di maggio as her main. Over the years she has enjoyed the variations in this dish, although last night's was a little too heavy tomato-based. My fettuccine cartoccio was absolutely delicious and the mushrooms were juicy and flavoursome. As it comes straight from the oven wrapped in tin foil it is piping hot. A lovely evening once again at an old favourite and we will definitely be back.
