As an avid foodie I have been wanting to try this place for a while. The place looks good, the feel is good the service is good. The menu was similar to other restaurants of this style and price range. Apart from the oysters, which were exceptionally fresh, it was a very disappointing meal for all of us. Two of us ate a la carte and two from the 5pm menu. The reduced price menu foods was something I'd expect in a school cafeteria. The calamari to start was hideously overcooked. The steaks were ALL of exceptionally poor quality although cooked well. The liver (cheap menu) was so so overcooked it was barely edible. I was really sad that the poor quality of the food let this place down so badly. It's competitors are exceptionally good and if it wants to compete they need new suppliers and better cooking techniques.
