I had heard mixed reviews about the Butchershop, but was looking forward to tasting their legendary burgers. On that count, I was not disappointed- I had the starter of mini burger, and it was delicious. Unfortunately the mains just did not live up to the same hype. I had mussels, which were ok, but my partner had the steak (which you imagine will be of a high standard as it is called the Butchershop) but found it was not a quality piece of meat and was chewy, and not cooked as requested. We told the waitress, and were given dessert free of charge, which is commendable. Luckily the desserts were lovely, but as the restaurant had filled up a bit, service got much slower. Maybe they should work on the consistency of their food since the location and decor is great.
