    Delicious food, excellent service

Came here for my birthday dinner with the family. All delighted with our meal and with the friendly, efficient service. Fish and chips is excellent, and the desserts (banana split, sticky toffee pudding, affogato trifle and ice cream) were polished off despite all of us being very full. Also thoroughly enjoyed the background music, which is at a mellow level, perfect for dining. Only tiny thing — and it's an observation, by no means a complaint — is that it can be a little on the cool side, so be prepared for that if you feel the cold. Heartily recommend and will have no hesitation in going back.

We will be back again and again

Great food, friendly service and lots of atmosphere. Table of 3 adults and 1 child. Between us we had the chicken lollipops (so tasty and spicy) a sharing Camembert (Devine) and the kids fresh fruit (loads of it). As it was steak night, 2 of us ordered the steak deal. £25 for 2 steaks. They were delicious! Also ordered a side of halloumi fries. We struggled to eat them as the portion sizes were big over all. They were so good though! Also had the deli burger and the child’s mac’n’cheese. Again delicious and big portions. No room for pudding! All in all a great restaurant, with friendly, relaxed service and atmosphere. Love this place.
