Pan Asian restaurant on Byres Road

Bar Soba is set on the popular Byres Road and its food focuses on the pan Asian style. It boasts a stylish and unique interior design. 
Graffiti is splashed over the walls of the bar-area, whilst the reclaimed light fittings and table tops throughout adds character and a relaxed lo-fi feel to the surroundings.

There is a large bar area with an extensive cocktail list and spirits range served throughout. DJ’s play Wednesday through Sunday from 9pm in the bar area playing an eclectic range of music.

Fresh street food

Bar Soba Byres Road’s menu has what a lot would consider a street food style – soup noodles, wok dishes, curries, sushi as well as burgers and wraps.

Everything is cooked from scratch, using fresh ingredients to ensure the food is as authentic as possible. 
Dishes include the chef recommended Cambodian seafood laksa, nasi goreng, Northern Thai yellow chicken curry, Thai red snapper curry, Singapore noodles, California maki sushi, ebi nigiri and crazyboy maki.

West End transport links

Bar Soba is on Byres Road after the crossroads with University Avenue. It is handy for students at Glasgow University as well as visitors browsing the boutiques of the West End. It is a few minutes walk to both Hillhead and Kelvinhall Subway stations. There are numerous bus routes nearby and limited paid parking.
