    Overall good

Attended with my husband as given a voucher for our Christmas. The food was nice enough but nothing outstanding. Have eaten in the downstairs restaurant before so was expecting similar to that, but menu a bit more basic. The MC for the night was very funny. A couple of the acts crossed a line with some of their gags which seemed to be purely to cause offense. The main headline comedienne was excellent. So overall a good evening.

Table service in Rotunda Comedy Club

The Comedy Club Kitchen is part of the Rotunda Comedy Club in the Rotunda building on Glasgow’s Tunnel Street. Audiences for the comedy club can dine in one of three restaurants in the building: La Rotunda Casa Italiana; the pan-Asian restaurant Yen Oriental or Mezze, a Mediterranean restaurant. There is also the option to dine from the Comedy Club Kitchen in the theatre space before the show. Guests can pre-book their table and enjoy a meal up to one hour before the comics hit the stage.

Simple, honest food

The Comedy Club Kitchen has a small but perfectly formed menu. There is a 100% Scotch beef burger and a mixed bean burger. Both of which can be topped with cheese and are served with fries, salad and ‘slaw. Both meat and veggie chilli are also available. These are served with rice and sour cream. Finally, there is always a chicken curry. The kitchen likes to keep it fresh by changing the style of curry on a weekly basis.
