    Family meal

Good choice of pizzas although it would be great if there were more vegetarian options. Tasty and well cooked and good attentive service as well.

Great food and value for money

Went to pizza west with a couple of friends for a late lunch. The pizza was delicious and the house white was unexpectedly lovely. Will be going back and would recommend to anyone.

Neighbourhood pizzeria in the West End

Pizza West aims for a warm, neighbourhood ambiance in its modern pizzeria. Simple, bright and airy decor with stripped wood tables creates an informal and welcoming ambiance for freshly-prepared pizza from the brick oven. Cocktails, wines, craft ales and Italian beers keep the conversation flowing, and takeaways are welcomed.

Sourdough pizza and creative toppings.

The Pizza West chefs start with the basics with the classic Marinara and Margherita and then get playful. Hand-stretched sourdough bases are topped with some creative combinations, before encountering the high temperature oven for that distinctive charred crust. The Artfunkel adds artichokes, olives and rocket, the Master Kim uses house-smoked chicken and kimchi, while the Rocky IV is a wholehearted Italian feast with dolcelatte, Italian sausage and mushrooms.

Salads, meatballs and hot roast chicken wings with blue cheese sauce provide starters or alternatives to the pizza, and there is a choice of crust dips as optional accompaniment. The dessert menu includes cheesecake and affogato ice cream with espresso (with or without a shot of liqueur).

West End sights and transport

Pizza West is located on Partick Bridge Street, just a couple of minutes walk from the Kelvinhall subway. The Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum and the Kelvin Hall sports complex are around ten minutes walk away, and the Riverside Museum a little further.

The nearest bus stop is nearby on Dumbarton Road, with regular connections to the city centre. On street parking is limited in the area, but paid parking is available at Lilybank, around 20 minutes walk away along Byres Road.
