The outlook over the Clyde is excellent....just a pity that they get the service so far wrong and that the food was totally bland! Previous visits have shown that there is justification for their AA awards but no this time at all. Perhaps the staff were too busy serving drinks to pay any real attention to diners and no one seemed to be in control of the dining room. Starters of soup and risotto were reasonable. We both opted for the vegetarian option ...and, of course, you really have to buy a portion of vegetables to make it the meal worthwhile. Yes, there were mushrooms, yes there was leek but how can they manage to take all taste out of both? Not an experience we would like to repeat. No one anywhere was on hand to present a bill!
