  Hope to have a return visit very soon

  We had the Jan sale pre theatre deal and it was excellent both in terms of quality and value for money. We both enjoyed the food and are keen to go back soon. My partner was particularly happy that the temperature of the food was lovely and hot. We also enjoyed having a look around the Rotunda building after our meal as it was much bigger inside than expected.

  A really warm welcome by staff, lovely atmosphere & nice & cosy. Food was beautiful very well presented & tasted very good given the price we paid for the 2course set menu with a glass of wine.

Modern Italian restaurant, adjacent to the SECC

La Rotunda is an Italian restaurant is positioned on the ground floor of the iconic Rotunda complex and is perfectly positioned next to Scotland’s entertainment hub with the SECC, Clyde Auditorium and the Scottish Hydro arena. The restaurant is child-friendly, has disabled access and also free car parking for its patrons. La Rotunda also boasts a beautiful outdoor seating area nestled under the impressive Finnieston crane where guests can enjoy those warm summer evenings (weather permitting) and bring a little bit of Italy to Glasgow.

Italian Cooking with a Contemporary Twist

With its open kitchen, La Rotunda serves up a traditional menu with a contemporary twist. The house specialities include mouth watering stone baked pizzas and fresh Scottish seafood done in a simple Italian style. Using a mix of locally sourced produce and carefully selected speciality Italian ingredients it offers a wide variety of Italian dishes served to you by its warm and friendly staff.

An abundance of classic Italian dishes are available in the restaurant with classics such as penne all’arrabbiata (pasta with chilli & garlic in a tomato sauce), pollo alla Milanese (breadcrumbed chicken breast served with spaghetti in a tomato sauce) and homemade focaccias on offer, as well as handmade burgers, babyback ribs and mozzarella sticks.

Train access & transport links to Finnieston

La Rotunda is located on Tunnel Street in the Finnieston area of Glasgow’s West End and is a brisk 10 minute walk from the Exhibition Centre train station. Bus stops are also a short distance from the restaurant, with free on-site parking at La Rotunda for customers.
