This was my second visit to Juice Garden on Byres Road. From my first visit I found that the service was really slow, in particular serving of hot food. I enjoyed the food and it was of good value. That specific visit my partner had purchased a livingsocial deal 2 main courses for £10! I really enjoyed the dinner and the freshly made juices. Hence why I returned yesterday.
When I ordered my mains, I showed the girl my 5pm email, I had thought I had booked the same previous deal and it was all fine. We took our seats. The food didn't take as long this time which was good. But as we started digging in the waitress came back over and told us that we had to pay £10 per person. She had forgotten to charge us. We had paid £15 for 2 juices and a £1.50 pack of fruit. I was a bit taken back. Then I realised it was my fault and hadn't read the deal properly, it was £10 for 2 courses not 2 mains. When she said it was 2 courses, she told us we could have a starter or dessert. We already started on mains, starter? A little late for that. Anyway, we paid the extra and to be fair, the waitress did offer us a dessert free of charge. It was also her third deal so I completely understand.
