About Hotel du Vin @ 1 Devonshire Gardens
Wow - Hotel du Vin @ 1 Devonshire Gardens
We visited to celebrate the retirement of a work colleague. The whole experience was first class. Food and wine were amazing as well as excellent service. Very good value for money. Would definitely recommend. We’ll be back.
A special birthday
This was a gift for a special birthday and it was certainly a special lunch.
The ambience is very calm and we were given a nice table.
The champagne was good and the set menu had a varied choice for each course.
The portions were not large but by the end of the meal we were comfortably replete. The focaccia was very good and I had to stop myself from having a third piece when it was offered. My husband and I both opted for the lamb for the main course. It was delicious and very tender. The coffee was excellent.
All in all we thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon.
On the voucher it stated that we would be expected to free the table in one and a half hours and worried that it would feel rushed but on the contrary we were encouraged to linger as long as we wished.
Definitely an experience that we would recommend.
