Had a meal there as a girls night. Shown straight to the booth with not much enthusiasm. Waited 10minutes then had to track down a server. Various back and forth's from one server ( only 2nd shift, so you can forgive them) and eventually drinks and food arrived. When it did come, it was good, but not memorable. The thick cut fries, were actually wedges and too many of them. Felt a waste when finished as a lot left on the plate. The main thing that we struggled with was that holding a conversation in the booth was exceptionally difficult as was making ourselves understood to the waitress. The music felt like we were in a noisy pub and we were constantly shouting to be heard.
This place seems to be unsure what it is. A pub, with a table tennis table upstairs and sofas to lounge around on? Yes. A restaurant where you can get good quality food and be able to hold a conversation accross the table? Not on the moment. With so many places to choose from in the west end..I don't think we will be back!
