Cafe Andaluz West End Review

  • Rating A welcome return (Rating 4.8/5)
Used to go fairly often to Cafe A but for no real reason not been recently. The excellent 5pm deal drew that to my attention and so we went back. The only question left for me now was why were not back sooner. The food was great - 5 tapas was plenty between us and I would say the lamb tagine and the chorizo and black pudding were outstanding. However I have always loved the goats cheese and orange marmalade and the meatballs and they were as good as I remember. Had never tried the trifle before but it was very refreshing. Service was superb from the young lady who 'knew all about me' the moment I said I have a 5pm booking to the waiters with their recommendations and pleasant manner. All in all a great experience ... and we will be back much sooner next time!
