I don't eat Indian food out that often, so I'd forgotten how well Glasgow's Indian restaurants do professional yet warm and friendly service.
The poppadoms were fresh and crisp and it's nice to get a choice of dips instead of just spiced onions. Mixed veg pakora was delicious, not your standard deep fried mushroom but pieces of cauliflower, mushroom, aubergine and more in a light batter with again a choice of lovely dips. Main course again didn't disappoint, tender lamb with no fat or gristle, in a tasty sauce without that film of oil some Indian restaurant sauces have - all served in perfect portion sizes.
House white wine was good, proper coke served in little bottles instead of syrupy draught stuff, and they do a good coffee too.
