We went to the Brasserie on a Friday evening. The place was very busy and when we got their they had no record of our online booking. They eventually confirmed our booking, and we made our order. It then took a full hour for the food to come. The food, when it arrived, was ok, although one dish was quite salty. We were offered a free bottle of wine because of the time we had to wait for our food, which we thanked them for. However, we had to haggle to get our 20% knocked off one of our meals, despite this being the 5pm deal, and my 80-yr old mother was overcharged at first for her requested meal (a starter with a slightly larger portion size, as this was all she was eating). Not the best experience, but perhaps not typical of the restaurant.
