Upon arrival for our booking at 8.15pm, we were told the table wasn't ready. We had to wait a few minutes at the front of the restaurant and sat down while they took drinks orders and gave us menus. Once the table was ready, it was nothing fancyful i.e. no table setting/linen etc. why such a long wait? We were then forgotten about while several staff kept running past us so I guess it was a busy night but disorganised. The food was nothing special, I've had better I am afraid to say. The curried lamb starter was cold and heavily salted and the creme brûlée dessert also cold and bland in taste and texture. Nothing seemed to be made fresh to order as claimed in the restaurant menu, more like straight out of cold storage. Very disappointing for a restaurant connected to the Hilton.
