Excellent deal, excellent food and excellent service
Service was impeccable. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Food was beyond delicious. We ordered the Black Pudding starter to share and it was great! The chateaubriand was one of the best I've ever had. We added some creamed spinach and dauphinoise potatoes too. I can't recommend the potatoes enough! I would also recommend the house red.
Can't wait to go back.
This was my first time visiting the restaurant.
The 2 course meal was £14.95. The steak was amazing. I will definitely be back. I can't fault anything with this restaurant. 5pm deal was amazing. Love having the 5pm app.
Stylish Byres Road steakhouse restaurant
Bo’Vine is a steakhouse restaurant at the top of Byres Road in Glasgow’s leafy West End. The restaurant decor is fairly informal with cow hide wall covers, inviting leather seats and big Chesterfield sofas. With quality local produce such as 28 day aged, grass fed Scottish beef, meat is undoubtedly the star of Bo’Vine. Attention to detail doesn’t end at the menu, however, as the restaurant also boasts an extensive list of carefully selected wines to complement your meal.
Scottish cuisine & a carnivore’s delight
Although beef may seem to take pride of place at Bo’Vine (well, maybe it does), there are vegetarian options too, along with a variety of dishes that make the most of other fine Scottish ingredients. Some examples include the Stornoway black pudding with poached egg and pancetta, the corn fed chicken breast with ham hock & potato press, and the indulgent Bo’Vine burger consisting of a beef & foie gras patty on a brioche bun with peach & chilli chutney and triple cooked chips.
Steak lovers will enjoy perusing the choice of cuts and may find themselves tempted by the rather posh ‘surf ‘n turf’ option to add a half lobster to their order.
Accessible from Byres Road
Bo’Vine is part of the Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor hotel in the West End and is a stone’s throw from the Botanic Gardens. Hillhead Subway station, bus stops and taxi ranks are all a short walk from the restaurant, with limited on street parking nearby.
