    Good value set menu.

Meeting family for a pre Christmas get together. Very accommodating as we end d up going from 8-14 at such a busy tim of year. Gave us back corner of restaurant hich was ideal. Set menu had 3 Chou s for each course. Service was good wine was fine. We're not big craft beer fans but it's clearly a nice crowd and ambience. We picked this for location and price. Based on our xperience and the service would recommend and return

Scottish and Belgian craft beer in West End

Located at the increasingly hip Broomhill end of Dumbarton Road, six°north is a craft beer bar. It is part of a group of six°north bars that stretches from Aberdeen to Edinburgh. With over thirty taps and more than a hundred bottles, six°north is a beer lover’s paradise. As well as their own Belgian-style beers – brewed in North East Scotland – they offer Scottish beers, Belgian beers and brews from pretty much every other part of the world. The decor is comfortably stripped back with one tiled wall bearing the exhortation to ‘Keep Partick weird’.

Belgian-style food in Partick

‘Petits Plats de Cuisine a la Bière Belgique’ is how six°north describe their food. It could also be described as ‘ideal for enjoying with a beer’. The menus change but typical starters might be the crispy chicken tempura or the beer soup of the day with crusty bread and butter. The Aberdeen Angus beef, chicken and spicy bean burgers are always popular or you could spice things up with a sweet potato curry. Dishes like the chicken and chorizo gnocchi with spiced tomato and cream sauce are the sort of hearty comfort food that many of us crave in the colder months. Dessert might be the sticky toffee pudding or a lemon posset with crunchy honeycomb and shortbread.

Dumbarton Road transport links

With a Dumbarton Road address, six°north is close to the Partick railway station and a brisk ten minute walk from the Kelvinhall subway station. There is restricted on-street parking. Nearby attractions include the Riverside Museum.
