6 course tasting menu through 5pm was excellent value; food up to excellent standard. Have been to this restaurant several times before and never had a bad meal. Also introduced family and friends and they have all loved it too! The house wine was good value too so whats not to like.

Contemporary fine dining in West End

A smartly turned out restaurant on Cleveden Road, 111 by Nico is headed up by chef patron Nico Simeone. With large windows to the street and an open plan kitchen, the dining room is a pleasant, airy space for a leisurely lunch or dinner. As well as aiming to provide guests with a unique dining
experience, 111 by Nico also gives young people from disadvantaged backgrounds a helping hand into the catering trade.

Weekly changing menu

The menus at 111 by Nico show no lack of ambition. Each week a new menu is created in the kitchens and presented to diners. The dishes are artfully plated and often feature unusual ingredients such as horseradish snow, thyme foam or lime gel.A typical starter might be the smoked ham hough which is starkly described as sandwich, apricot, granola and hazelnut dressing. Dishes like the crab risotto or hake with Parma ham and chorizo have a distinct Mediterranean flavour. Others, like the beetroot salad with goat’s cheese and candied walnuts, would not look out of place on the menu of an adventurous Californian restaurant.
