We went to Ollie's before heading to a show at the Tramway and had the Market Menu. Great price for some lovely food. Halloumi and beetroot was really nice and the gnocchi for main. Would highly recommend and will be back soon.
All day neighbourhood bistro in Pollokshields
Open from morning until late, Ollie’s is a friendly, neighbourhood hangout on Nithsdale Road in Glasgow’s Southside. With its reclaimed lighting, white tiles and stripped tables, it is a comfortable, laidback place where people are as welcome for coffee and cake as they are for a multi-course sit down evening meal with friends. There is some outdoor seating for the warmer months or the more hardy al fresco diners.

From the far east to the Med via the States, the menus at Ollie’s take inspiration from many parts of the world.
The breakfast menu at Ollie’s is short but inviting. Bacon rolls, eggs Benedict and French toast with maple syrup and bacon all stand out. At lunch and , there are tapas-style sharing plates as well as gourmet sandwiches, pizza, sharing platters and dishes like roast pork belly, fish ‘n chips and the house burger.
In the evenings, popular choices include the roast rump of lamb with fondant potatoes and Puy lentils or the rib eye of teriyaki beef with noodles and wasabi. Vegetarians are catered for with dishes like the red pepper, roast pine nuts and gorgonzola fettucine. The cocktails and the coffee at Ollie’s both draw plenty of fans.

Ollie’s is on Nithsdale Road in Pollokshields. The nearest train station is Pollokshields West and there is limited on street parking. Local attractions include Maxwell Park, Queen’s Park and the Burrell Collection in Pollok country Park.
