Despite the restaurant being a bit out the way, we decided to visit Curry on the Hill on the strength of the great reviews it received on 5pm. Unfortunately it didn't live up to expectations and definitely wasn't worth the journey out of town.
The portion sizes are not as generous as they could have been (we went for the mixed platter to share as a starter) and flavour was lacking, in particular in the Pardesi I ordered, which is usually one of my favourites.
The parking is extremely limited, no more than half a dozen spaces (fine on a Monday evening but not so sure about weekends!) which I'd guess could be problematic.
On a more positive note, the staff were good and the restaurant itself is nicely done (especially if you're a fan of silver glitter walls!)
