Started really well. Warm friendly greeting and brought the drinks from the 5pm early evening menu right away even though the restaurant was busy. The waiting staff were quick to take and then bring the starter and main courses.
I had the soup which tasted great, however was warm rather than piping hot unfortunately. My wife's starter was great and we both enjoyed our mains, mine a chicken dish and my wife a risotto.
Unfortunately everything then went rapidly or should I say slowly downhill! As the plates were cleared, we weren't offered a dessert, drinks or coffee. After waiting around 20-30 minutes we managed to get the waiter’s attention and asked for a tea and a latte. 20 minutes followed and still no sign of the tea and coffee so we just settled up and left. The waiter did acknowledge he had forgotten and offered the drinks on the house but after waiting around 45 minutes after our main course was finished, we'd had enough.
Shame really as it all started off so well. Possibly need more waiting staff when they are fully or close to fully booked and a better organised way of taking orders other than just operating from memory.
