Superb
Good and service was fantastic. The steak was one of the best I’ve had and was cooked exactly as I asked for it. Not many places can get a rare steak spot on! It’s a little expensive if not on a deal but we will definitely be back.

Contemporary grill dining in Uddingston
Cocktails & Steaks is a stylish grill spot on Main Street in Uddingston. Promising ‘delicious steaks and curious cocktails’, this is a great destination for a casual date or meal with friends. The interior blends classic Americana with chic minimalism, including artfully worn leather seats, exposed brickwork and filament bulbs. The restaurant has two levels, with the mezzanine area offering great people-watching opportunities.
Quality steaks and creative cocktails
Cocktails & Steaks has the distinction of a Josper Grill, a state-of-the-art piece of kitchen kit praised by the likes of Gordon Ramsay. All steaks are hung and dry-aged for 28 days and are locally sourced from Campbell’s Gold. Choices include fillet, sirloin, rib-eye, D-rump and T-bone. All come accompanied by a choice of sauces and two sides, and although menus can change, expect temptations like the truffle mac ‘n’ cheese and the beer-battered onion rings.
If steak isn’t your thing then you can tuck into choices like the roast chicken supreme, the Scottish salmon and the mushroom stroganoff.
The cocktail menu features classics such as Cosmopolitans, Pink Gin Fizzes and Mojitos, all perfect for washing down hearty grill dishes. But you could also opt for something more innovative from the Curious Tales selection, including the Chilli & Passion Fruit Collins, Tea & Toast and the delightfully named Kiss From A Rose.
