Tribeca Merchant City is a New York style cafe/restaurant in the centre of Glasgow. It serves boundless brunches and classic American dishes. Exposed brick walls, leather booth seating and NYC street photography prints echo the interior of a Tribeca loft. Both the menu and the style is

Brunch dishes

Those who consider brunch to be the best meal of the day should make Tribeca their first stop. Whether the preference is full breakfasts, eggs, French toast, waffles, pancakes or omelettes, guests will find several varieties of each on the menu. Portions are mammoth too; with dishes including the Manhattan Grand Slam: Manhattan grand slam: three eggs (your way), two golden hash browns lightly fried, two link sausages, two rashers of
bacon, sweet cherry tomatoes, seasoned roast button mushrooms, baked beans and a generous portion of toast and butter, and the Brooklyn Breakfast: a stack of fresh buttermilk pancakes served with butter, 100% grade A Canadian Ember maple syrup, two slices of locally sourced bacon, two link sausages, two eggs cooked any way and two golden hash browns.

The evening menu at Tribeca offers American classic dishes, such as baby back ribs and mac n cheese. There is also a huge selection of burgers and hot dogs with different topping varieties available. It may be north of the border, but Tribeca have wisely including the Canadian classic, poutine.

Tribeca Merchant City is Bell Street, just a ten minute walk away from both Queen Street and Central trains stations. There is limited on-street parking as well as multiple pay car parks. The Old Fruitmarket, City Halls, Tron Theatre and Barrowland Ballroom are all within easy walking distance.
