Corinthian Club Review

  • Rating Slow service but lovely (Rating 3.6/5)
Booked the two steaks deal with wine and one side. Food was lovely although we ordered a couple of extra sides as one to share isn't great if you are hungry -still pretty good value though. Our waitress was very nice however, service was extremely slow. We had eaten half our steaks before our sides arrived and even the wine took a while to come in the first instance. One steak was slightly overcooked however, we lumped it due to the potential wait to rectify it. The waitress as I say was great and kept apologising for delays and even gave us a free glass of wine. Unsure if perhaps the floor or kitchen were short staffed that night or what the issue was but it was a shame. I would go back as the deal was good value in nice surroundings with friendly staff just don't be in a hurry. On top of the deal, I ordered a cheeseboard for dessert, the cheeseboard was on the menu as offering a variety of cheeses, in reality, there was two lumps of brie and a lump of smoked cheese. Although very nice, a bit disappointing that there was only two types but I liked both so not a huge problem iv just had better.
