Corinthian Club Review

  • Rating I'd crawl over broken glass to taste a steak like that again (Rating 4.6/5)
Each started with the Prawn Tempura, the Sirloin (600g) on the bone to share with chips, veg & onion rings. Food was absolutely superb, only the chips were under par (a touch hard) - the steak we had medium to well, and it was outrageously tasty - so much so I have explained to my wife I will have to order that just for myself next time! Took a while to get first drinks, and second lot, and after being told the dessert menu would be brought over in 5 mins (the rest period from the steak) it never was, and by which time we'd set our sights on the Casino. The service is not really cohesive, I do prefer the same person serving as this eclectic team serving means we had to repeatedly answer the same questions. Meal came to just over £70 and I was happy to leave 10% as the servers were very nice and deserved at least that! The venue is second to none, we sampled Prosecco in the Champagne bar with our roulette winnings, and enjoyed several fantastic songs in the upstairs bar - live piano, very smooth indeed. There's nowhere in Glasgow can touch the quality and class of Corinthian, awesome.
