Rating Beautiful flavour and presentation (Rating 4.8/5)
I chose here as I mostly eat seafood and fish and enjoy Indian cuisine. I was certainly not disappointed, will recommend highly and will definitely be returning. The menu contains an enticing range of fish and seafood dishes although there are also vegan and meat options. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. We were brought little palate cleansers of cucumber, mint and lime and started with an interesting variety of pappadoms and chutneys while we considered the menu. We went for three starters which we shared (softshell crab, tandoori salmon and spiced haddock). These were all delicious. As we finished these the friendly owner came to visit us at the table to gauge our reaction and talk to us about the principles of his cooking with fresh seasonal Scottish seafood. Our mains were stunning. We had whole bream and two of us chose the Goan monkfish curry. Portions were large but we were not left feeling we had overeaten. Desserts looked interesting but we decided not to try them this time round. A delightful and inspiring restaurant.
