Rating Excellent meal (Rating 5.0/5)
The last day of the Merchant City festival meant that the whole area was very busy, and the Mediterraneo was no exception. Despite this the service was prompt, although the first course arrived before the drinks. As ever, the food was first class and plentiful. The starters - polpettine and haggis balls - couldn't be faulted, and the pizza diavola was large and devilishly piquant, as its name suggests, but very tasty. The pulled pork mambo burger was delightful and the wine was a full-bodied Montepulciano. We've never been disappointed by this restaurant, and once again they did themselves proud.
