We shared the chicken tempura starter which was excellent, crisp and very tasty. No faults whatsoever there. I then had the chicken and haggis main as there wasnt alot more that appealed. I was pleasantly suprised with the main as, I wouldnt normally eat haggis, but it was delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly although the veg was under cooked. The macaroni was ok as was the garlic bread that came with it. We both had the chocolate mint cheesecake, which was suprisingly light and refreshing for a cheesecake. The complimentary cocktails we had with the meal were very nice.
The atmosphere was very poor. There was a band playing in the next room with only a curtain to seperate them from the restaurant. On top of that, there were two rowdy staff nights out cramped into this small but stylish restaurant with us.
The food was decent value for money, however, the drinks were very expensive at both the bar and in the restaurant.
