Ingram Wynd Review

  • Rating Rating 2.8/5
We had hoped to eat from the high tea menu but this was no longer available, it has been replaced by a rather ordinary 'Pre Theatre'. When we arrived there were other tables whose orders had been taken but who were waiting to be served. Our order was taken and our drinks were served but it was to be half an hour before any food came from the kitchen; reasonably enough this went first to the people who had waited longest. The food was nicely prepared and presented. We both had cod and chips for mains. The 'mushy peas' were mashed garden peas and the butter lemon sauce was too rich an accompaniment for deep fried fish in batter.
