Ingram Wynd Review

  • Rating Great value for money (Rating 3.6/5)
I booked Ingram Wynd for afternoon tea as it is near my work and ideal for a quick lunch. However I booked for 12.15 and we got our afternoon tea just after 1pm. I know the sandwiches were freshly made as they asked our preference for brown or white bread which was good but there was no other explanation or apology for the delay until we asked how much longer it would be. The staff were pleasant enough but it would help to explain any delays - when our afternoon tea arrived the scones were hot so obviously they were fresh made, but given that we had pre booked a lunchtime slot, i would have expected these to be ready! Otherwise the food was really tasty and a good selection of sandwich fillings, tasty scones and cakes were plentiful so other than the extremely long wait, I would return.
