Ingram Wynd Review

  • Rating Lovely meal ruined by the cashier (Rating 3.4/5)
My friends and I all opted for the pre-theatre. The food was good value for money, standard service good but wouldn't of said it was wow but we didn't have any problems until we paid the bill. It came to £56 and we put £70 down as we required change to split amongst us before leaving a time. After the waitress took the £70 away she returned our jackets. We waited 5 minutes, still no change appeared so we got up and headed towards the door and I asked the waitress of we could get the change so we could sort the tip out. She was polite & explained it is the cashier that deals with it. At that point the cashier came over and was very off with us. Said she expected the change to be left as a tip. I explained our bill was only £56 and she said yes and? And I replied well we were leaving a tip but was never going to be a 24% tip! Very taken aback by the cashier attitude, pretty much threw the money into my hand where I then handed over 15% tip that was for the waitress. To be honest meal was nice but I won't be back and wouldn't recommend after the bad attitude of the female cashier on that night.
