Ingram Wynd Review

  • Rating Worth the Walk (Rating 4.2/5)
We visited on a Monday and although it was very quiet the traditional style restaurant was warm and airy. The 2 course lunch menu is great value for money. We particularly liked the Portobello mushroom with skirlie and cheese starter and the Chicken pie with roast veg main. Our Australian friends also enjoyed the haggis timbale with neeps and tatties which was light and an ideal introduction to Scotland's national dish. There a good selection of drinks and wines at reasonable prices. We chose the Cullinan View Chenin Blanc from South Africa which was delicious at well priced at £17. The service was prompt and we enjoyed a rich coffee to finish. Definitely recommended for lunch.
