Ingram Wynd Review

  • Rating Decent food, awful service (Rating 2.4/5)
The food was decent- salad starters were a bit skimpy but a mackerel catch of the day main was tasty and generous if a little oily. Our waiter seemed pleasant at first his manta of 'fabulous, perfect, lovely' quickly seemed disingenuous. When I used the salt it flowed out far far to fast leaving the bit of food I had poured it onto inedible. I mentioned this to the waiter who informed me that I could control the flow of salt using a screw at the top of the salt cellar. I told him that customers may assume they could use the salt cellar without investigating whether or not its flow could be altered, but I was just dismissed. We did not like the waiter's attitude, will give the Ingram Wynd a miss in future.
