Ingram Wynd Review

I have walked by this place many times and always thought it looked very inviting, so eventually booked a lunch with a few friends - 2 courses £10.95 or 3 courses £13.95, both with a small glass of wine is great value. Sometimes house wines are not up to scratch but the house red was sublime. The presentation and taste of all our dishes were of great quality. My starter was the haggis neeps and mash and the girls had tomato soup with creme fraiche and toast. Both very tasty and prefectly sized as the main courses were a very respectable size. My only criticism is that the venison was quite fatty throughout, but then again it did make it very tasty. One of my friends had the fish and chips and we all helped her finish her chips as they were amazing. For all you veggies my other friend ordered the roast veg in a pastry case that looked amazing. As for the desserts: mmmmmmmmm is all i'm saying!
