Ingram Wynd Review

  • Rating Simply Scottish (Rating 5/5)
It's nice to visit a Scottish restaurant that reminds you of Scotland, although I can also say that the décor reminds me a little of a French restaurant, just a little though! Food - great choice of Scottish Fair with a modern yet traditional menu! Starter - Haggis, Neeps and Tattie stack with a Whisky Jus - divine! Main Course - Chicken Balmoral with Calcanon type mash again delicious though the Chicken was a little tough on the top, as if sat under grill longer than needed! Dessert - The most amazing Cranachan I have ever tasted! Stodgy but light if that is possible! Service - personal and discreet is how I would describe it, we dined late afternoon which meant our waitress was able to spend a little more time with us than you would expect. Drinks - Nice bottle of wine was recommended and it was delicious Pinot Grigio and went well with all our dishes! Cleanliness - Spotless! Atmosphere - warm and relaxed, friendly and homely!
