Rating Your evening gets off to a bad start on arrival at the door (Rating 2.8/5)
You enter the restaurant through the casino reception. Eventually, after you have waited in a queue, serviced by one person taking joining details of new casino members - on a Saturday night. Frustrated, we spoke to a staff member on the other side of the barriers to ask if we had to continue waiting in the queue when we just wanted to come in for our meal. We were told to wait. When we got to the head of the queue the woman simply pressed a button to let us through the barriers. Exasperating! Our friends arriving after us had the same bad start. I cannot imagine how a larger party arriving at different times would fare! We were shown to a table situated oddly in the middle of the large floor nearest to the casino area and gaming machines. It felt like a school dinner hall. We were the only people in except for another couple and asked if we could move table. We were told all the booths were reserved. When we left, there were still empty tables. Disappointing that no effort was made to offer another table anywhere. The food is actually very good value for money. Great choice and very tasty. The desserts are superb! The staff are nice and friendly, but I suspect they hear people moaning a lot about the entrance issues. Would only go back if that is sorted as it could be a long, frustrating wait if a few people were joining the casino that night!
