Gandolfi Fish was a valued addition to the stable, and this visit did not disappoint our high expectations. The restaurant was comfortably busy when we arrived, and help had been drafted in from the mother ship just along the road. We ate from the lunch menu; prawn cocktail for my wife and pan-fried pigeon breast for me. Both were wonderful. We each had the excellent fish and chips and it was clear from the first crunch as knife cracked through batter that anything as good as this had to be unhealthy!
