A wonderful building with a bustling busy atmosphere on a Saturday night. My friend and I were shown to a table in the corner by the window and given the menu. Unfortunately the lighting was very low and I had to use the torch on phone to read the menu! We requested a candle but it never arrived. 25mins after being seated we had to ask a waiter to come and take our order. Service very slow and we were served food but still no drinks . Wine arrived and eventually a jug of water. The food itself was mostly delicious. The supplement for a prawn cocktail was unnecessary as it was very much an ordinary starter with slightly disappointing flavours. Main courses were great . The waiter seemed to want to rush us with the order and not offer sides although we did slow him down and order them. Cheese board overpriced at £8.50 and had to request more cheese as a tiny slice of Brie with some cheddar was presented. Well worth a visit. Just hope the staff are more attentive to details.
