We went to Citation on a 5pm deal which given the actual prices was a good deal although I doubt I would have paid full price. I chose the steak burger and my husband had fish and chips. Good size portion and served fairly quickly. The deal consisted of a main course and a cocktail of your choice which could be swapped for wine, beer or prosecco. I ordered the two glasses of wine for myself and my husband ordered a beer. The waiter put both glasses of wine into one glass giving me a 250ml glass and we were to pay for the beer. Here's where I have a gripe. The drinks menu prices the smallest glass of wine as a 175ml. I was given a large glass of house wine, both our allowance, costing £6.10. The cocktail value is £6.95 for each of us.How does that work? Surely you should be given a medium glass of wine at least? The waiter didn't seem to know why and I'm not even sure he understood what I meant. Disappointing.
