Cossachok Restaurant Review

  • Rating Not rushing just Russian (Rating 4.6/5)
A quiet Monday night during Celtic Connections and we wanted a quick bite before the evening show. Booked here and were not disappointed, we arrived early but were welcomed and seated without a quibble. Service was good- smart rather than speedy and the food was good. The starter layered salad an interesting mix of flavours and textures and strongly recommended. The deep fried ravioli parcels in a cheese sauce were much more interesting than my kebab but it was decent tasty helping. No one rushed us out the door when we lingered over latte and Russian tea while we steeled ourselves to go out into the January night. A fairly restricted menu but well delivered in a pleasant atmosphere particularly as they have decent draught proofing on the door.
